Hello! Thanks for your interest and visiting my page.
I am a Master’s student in Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I am also working as a Graduate Research Assistant for the SECuRE and Trustworthy Lab (SECRETLab). My current research work includes Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Data Analysis, Sybil Attack, and Authorship Attribution. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from theShahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) in 2008 with a major in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
My career started at the United Nations (UN) in 2008 as an e-Service programmer. In that position, I had the opportunity to work in different e-governance projects funded jointly by the Bangladesh Government and the UN. Although, I worked at the UN for a short time, this experience opened a new frontier to me by teaching me how to deliver electronic-based services to the government directly linked to e-governance and development. My all-time passion is to teach at a university, a dream which became a reality in 2009 when I was appointed at SUST as a lecturer. Being a lecturer at SUST was a rewarding experience as I was able to carry out various development projects in the public sector along with teaching computer science to some of the brightest students in Bangladesh.
My other passion is entrepreneurship which inspired me to reestablish Criss Cross Computers (3C) in 2011 (it was originally established in 2006). I initiated a project from 3C which was the first ever Online Payment System for university students in Bangladesh.
